Wash the apple and cut it into thin slices or small cubes. For the best flavor, use the apple fresh.
Place the ice cubes in the bottom of a large glass, then add the apple slices.
Pour the Calvados into the glass and stir, allowing the brandy to infuse with the apple flavor.
Add honey and a cinnamon stick to impart a characteristic flavor to the drink. Stir well to combine.
Top the glass with cider and garnish with a few mint leaves. Serve immediately.
