    Preparation Steps

    1

Cook the rice vermicelli noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.

    2

Prepare the fillings: thinly slice the cooked pork, and prepare the shrimp. Wash the vegetables and fresh herbs, and chop as needed.

    3

Fill a large bowl with warm water. Dip each rice paper wrapper into the water for a few seconds until pliable, but do not soak for too long or it will tear.

    4

Place the softened rice paper wrapper on a clean work surface. Layer with a lettuce leaf, a small amount of rice vermicelli noodles, a few shrimp, sliced pork, and some julienned carrots, cucumber strips, and fresh herbs.

    5

Fold in the two sides of the rice paper, then roll up tightly to create a neat cylinder shape. Repeat until all ingredients are used.

    6

Serve the spring rolls with refreshing dipping sauces, such as hoisin or peanut sauce, in separate bowls. Enjoy immediately!
