    Preparation Steps

    1

Finely chop the onion and garlic. In a large bowl, combine the ground goose meat, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion and garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

    2

Form the mixture into four equally sized patties. Slightly flatten them to prevent excessive shrinking during cooking.

    3

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, until nicely browned and cooked through.

    4

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cover and let the cheese melt.

    5

Halve the hamburger buns and lightly toast the cut sides in a dry skillet.

    6

Spread a little mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the bottom bun. Add a lettuce leaf, then the cheese-melted goose patty. Top with thinly sliced tomato, and finally the top bun.

    7

Serve the prepared hamburger immediately, accompanied by french fries or other side dishes.
