Thoroughly wash the grapefruit and slice it into thin rounds.
Pour the apple cider into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat.
Add the grapefruit slices, cinnamon stick, and cloves to the saucepan.
Gently warm the mixture, being careful not to boil it, allowing the flavors to meld together. This will take about 10-15 minutes.
Stir in the honey until it is completely dissolved.
Strain the cider to remove the spices and grapefruit peel.
Serve warm in heat-resistant glasses, garnished with a grapefruit slice and a cinnamon stick.
