Green apple sorbet homemade refreshing dessert

Green Apple Sorbet

Green apple sorbet is a classic and refreshing dessert that highlights the tart and crisp flavors of green apples. Apples are one of the oldest fruits, cultivated since ancient Roman and Greek times. The first sorbets were enjoyed in ancient Rome when snow flavored with honey and fruit juice was chilled. In the modern version, the freshness of the green apple and the tangy notes of lemon create a perfect harmony, resulting in a light, icy dessert. Imagine a spoonful of green apple sorbet melting in your mouth, refreshing and invigorating with every bite!

    Preparation Steps

    1

Wash, peel, and core the green apples. Cut them into smaller pieces and blend in a food processor until completely smooth.

    2

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. This will take about 5 minutes.

    3

Allow the sugar syrup to cool, then stir in the green apple puree and lemon juice.

    4

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.

    5

Every 30 minutes, scrape the sorbet with a fork to create a crystalline texture. Repeat this process 3-4 times until completely frozen.

    6

Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to make it easier to scoop. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and green apple slices.
