Place the tofu slices in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes, allowing them to absorb the flavors.
Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated tofu for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and slightly charred.
Transfer the grilled tofu to a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro.
Serve with steamed rice or fresh vegetables, drizzled with any remaining marinade.
