Thinly slice the red onion and tomato. Wash and dry the iceberg lettuce.
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into two equally sized patties.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush lightly with olive oil.
Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, until nicely charred and cooked through.
In the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Cook the bacon on the grill until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
Halve the hamburger buns and toast the cut sides on the grill for about 1 minute.
Spread barbecue sauce and mustard on the bottom halves of the buns. Top with iceberg lettuce and the grilled patties.
Add the crispy bacon, onion slices, tomato slices, and pickled cucumber slices.
Place the top halves of the buns on top and serve immediately for the best flavor.
