200 g Cooked lentils
1 Red onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
1 Egg
50 g Breadcrumbs
10 g Fresh parsley (chopped)
1 tsp Ground cumin
0.5 tsp Hungarian Sweet Paprika
1 tsp Salt
0.5 tsp Black pepper
2 tbsp Oil (for grilling)
4 Burger buns
4 Fresh lettuce leaves
1 Tomato (sliced)
1 Onion (sliced into rings)
50 ml Ketchup or mustard

    In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked lentils, chopped onion, crushed garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, cumin, Hungarian sweet paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

    Shape the mixture into 4 equally sized patties. Ensure the patties are not too thick for grilling.

    Preheat the grill to medium heat and grease the grill grates. Grill the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

    Lightly toast the insides of the burger buns on the grill until slightly crisp.
