Gently warm the apple cider in a medium saucepan over low heat.
Add the honey, cinnamon stick, cloves, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine and let the flavors meld for about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, toast the almonds in a dry skillet until golden brown and fragrant.
Stir the vanilla extract into the cider and mix well.
Strain the cider to remove the spices. Divide into glasses.
Before serving, garnish each glass with whipped cream and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
