Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch (22 cm) cake pan, or line it with parchment paper.
Peel the bananas and mash them into a puree using a fork in a large bowl.
Add the honey, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas, and mix until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, gently mixing until just combined and no flour lumps remain.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.
Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then carefully transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Before serving, dust with powdered sugar, or drizzle a little honey over the top for an even more intense flavor.
