    Preparation Steps

    1

Prepare all the ingredients. Measure out the honey and break the chocolate into smaller pieces.

    2

Separate the eggs, placing the egg whites in a clean bowl. In another bowl, combine the egg yolks with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and honey.

    3

Pour the milk and butter into a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Do not let the mixture boil; just warm it through.

    4

Place the chocolate and butter in a small bowl and melt over a double boiler. Once the chocolate has melted, pour it into the egg yolk mixture and mix well.

    5

Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.

    6

Sift the flour and gradually add it to the chocolate mixture. Mix well to combine.

    7

Butter a soufflé dish and pour the chocolate mixture into it.

    8

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the soufflé has risen nicely and is golden brown.

    9

Once done, let it cool slightly, then serve warm, drizzled with a little extra honey, if desired.
