Juice the orange to yield 100 ml of fresh orange juice.
Peel and grate the garlic. Finely grate the ginger as well.
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the orange juice and honey. Stir well to dissolve the honey completely.
Add the soy sauce, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
Once the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Serve the sauce with grilled meats, vegetables, or even pasta.
