In a large bowl, sift the all-purpose flour, add the dry yeast, sugar, and salt, then mix well.
Pour in the lukewarm milk and melted butter, then start kneading. Work into a smooth, elastic dough, then cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Divide the risen dough into two parts, then roll out into circles on a floured surface.
Spread honey on one half of each dough circle, then sprinkle with ground walnuts, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar.
Fold the other half of the dough over the filling, then press the edges together to seal.
Brush the top with beaten egg and prick a few holes with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) until golden brown, about 18-20 minutes.
After baking, let it cool, then sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
