Wash and finely chop the strawberries and raspberries to ensure they cook down easily into the glaze.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped fruits and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until slightly softened.
Pour in the balsamic vinegar and orange juice, then stir well to combine.
Add the honey, cinnamon stick, and a pinch of nutmeg. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened.
Once the glaze has thickened to your liking, remove the cinnamon stick and season with a pinch of salt.
Allow to cool slightly before serving with cheeses, roasted meats, or even salads for a unique flavor experience.
