Add the cottage cheese and milk to the butter mixture, and mix until smooth.
Gradually add the flour mixture, then gently fold in the prepared apples.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan, then smooth the top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bundt cake cool in the pan, then carefully invert it onto a wire rack.
Dust with powdered sugar or sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar before serving.
