Jalapeño Cheese Pretzels

Jalapeño cheese pretzels are a special, spicy twist on the classic pretzel, where jalapeño peppers and melted cheese combine to create a truly mouthwatering snack. The intense, spicy flavor of jalapeño peppers goes perfectly with the crispy pretzel dough. I recommend this recipe to those who like spicy flavors and want to make something truly exciting at home. Preparation Steps

    1

In a large bowl, combine the flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the lukewarm water and melted butter, then mix until a dough forms.

    2

Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

    3

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a long rope, then shape them into pretzel shapes.

    4

Bring 1 liter of water to a boil, remove from heat, and stir in the baking soda (be careful, it will foam!).

    5

Dip each pretzel into the baking soda water for 30 seconds, then remove and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    6

Finely chop the jalapeño peppers and sprinkle them over the pretzels. Top with the grated cheese to make every bite flavorful and spicy.

    7

Bake the pretzels in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Best served fresh.
