Wash the jalapeño peppers, remove the stems, and deseed them if you prefer a milder dip. Finely chop the jalapeños.
Peel and finely grate the garlic clove. Finely chop the fresh dill.
In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, chopped jalapeños, grated garlic, and chopped dill.
Add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve chilled with french fries, grilled meats, vegetables, or tortilla chips.
