In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Preheat your waffle iron. Lightly grease it with butter or oil. Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
To serve, drizzle the waffles with honey, dust with powdered sugar, and top with freshly whipped cream.
