    Preparation Steps

    1

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the water, kneading continuously until a smooth and elastic dough forms. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

    2

Meanwhile, prepare the filling: finely chop the onion, garlic, and fresh cilantro. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and pork, chopped vegetables, spices, and water. Mix well to ensure the filling is juicy.

    3

Roll out the rested dough thinly and cut out circles approximately 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) in diameter.

    4

Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each dough circle. Lift the edges of the dough and pleat them together, forming a small knob at the top of the dumpling. Ensure the filling doesn't leak out.

    5

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they float to the surface.

    6

Drain the dumplings and serve immediately. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and serve hot.
