Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9-inch (22 cm) cake pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the milk, then gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely in the pan before slicing it horizontally into two layers.
In a large bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and Nutella. Whip until stiff peaks form.
Spread the Nutella cream over the bottom layer of the cake. Place the top layer on top, then frost the entire cake with the remaining cream.
Decorate the top of the cake with Kinder Bueno bars and chocolate shavings.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
