Kiwi sorbet homemade refreshing dessert

Kiwi Sorbet

Kiwi sorbet is an exotic and refreshing dessert that highlights the sweet-tart, slightly citrusy flavor of kiwi. The kiwi originally comes from China, but New Zealand made it world-famous in the 1900s. The first sorbets were consumed in ancient Rome, when they cooled snow flavored with honey and fruit juice. In the modern version, the natural freshness of the kiwi and the slightly sour notes of lime create a perfect harmony, resulting in a light, icy dessert. Imagine a spoonful of kiwi sorbet melting in your mouth, refreshing and invigorating with every bite!

    Preparation Steps

    1

Peel the kiwis and blend them in a food processor or blender until completely smooth.

    2

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. This should take about 5 minutes.

    3

Let the sugar syrup cool completely, then stir in the kiwi purée and lime juice.

    4

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.

    5

Every 30 minutes, scrape the sorbet with a fork to create an icy, crystal-like texture. Repeat this process 3-4 times until it's completely frozen.

    6

Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to soften slightly, making it easier to scoop. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and kiwi slices.
