Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
Melt the butter and mix it with the milk, then add it to the dry ingredients.
Mix in the eggs one at a time until you have a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
While the cake is cooling, melt the chocolate over a double boiler.
Cut the cooled cake into equal-sized cubes, then dip each cube into the melted chocolate.
Roll the chocolate-dipped cubes in shredded coconut and place them on a wire rack until the chocolate sets.
