Meanwhile, warm the pita bread in a grill pan or oven until lightly toasted and pliable.
To serve: Place lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, and the cooked lamb into the pita bread. Serve with yogurt and sauces of your choice, such as tahini or chili sauce.
