Cook the rice according to package directions. Meanwhile, thinly slice the Savoy cabbage.
Sauté the onion and garlic in oil until softened. Add the ground pork and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon.
Blanch the sliced cabbage in boiling water for a minute or two, just until slightly softened.
Layer the cabbage, rice, and ground pork mixture in a greased baking dish. Spread the sour cream evenly over the top layer.
