Thoroughly wash the lemon and slice it into thin rounds.
Pour the apple cider into a medium-sized saucepan and heat over medium heat.
Add the lemon slices, cinnamon stick, and cloves to the saucepan.
Gently heat the cider, being careful not to bring it to a boil, allowing the flavors to meld together. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
Stir in the honey until it is completely dissolved.
Strain the cider to remove the spices and lemon peel.
Serve warm in heat-resistant glasses, garnished with a lemon slice and a cinnamon stick.
