5 g Salt
10 g Sugar
100 g Butter or margarine
250 ml Water
20 ml Vegetable oil
100 ml Honey or date syrup (for serving)

    In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar. Gradually add water while kneading to form a soft, pliable dough.

    Divide the dough into 4-5 equal portions and shape them into balls. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for 30 minutes.

    On a floured surface, roll out one dough ball into a very thin circle. Spread with butter or margarine, then carefully fold it over onto itself multiple times to create layers.
