Mango Sorbet

Mango sorbet is an exotic and refreshing dessert, a favorite for lovers of tropical flavors. Mangoes originally come from South Asia, and are popular worldwide for their sweet, creamy texture. The history of sorbet dates back to ancient Rome, where snow flavored with honey and fruit juice was consumed on hot days. In the modern version, the natural sweetness of the mango and the freshness of the lemon combine harmoniously, resulting in a light, icy dessert. Preparation Steps

    1

Peel the mango, cut it into smaller pieces, and puree in a blender until completely smooth.

    2

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 5 minutes.

    3

Let the sugar syrup cool, then stir in the mango puree and lemon juice.

    4

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place in the freezer.

    5

Every 30 minutes, scrape the sorbet with a fork to create an icy, crystalline texture. Repeat this process 3-4 times until completely frozen.

    6

Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to make it easier to scoop. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and mango slices.
