Slice the zucchini, eggplant, and bell peppers into thin rounds or strips. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened. Add the ground pork, season with salt, pepper, and basil. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.
Grease a baking dish with oil. Start layering the vegetables and meat: place a layer of vegetables on the bottom, followed by a layer of ground pork. Continue layering until all the ingredients are used.
Pour the heavy cream over the layered vegetables and meat. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the creamy sauce has thickened.
Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving, garnished with fresh basil.
