    Preparation Steps

    1

Place the ground pork in a large bowl. Add the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

    2

Shape the mixture into small meatballs. Place them on a plate and let them rest for 10 minutes.

    3

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and brown them on all sides for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown.

    4

Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet. Add a little water if the sauce is too thick. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.

    5

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.

    6

To serve, place the spaghetti on plates, spoon the meatballs and tomato sauce over the top, and garnish with fresh basil leaves. You can also sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
