Bring 500 ml of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Peel the banana, cut it into smaller pieces, then place it in a bowl and mash with a fork.
Add the mint leaves and cinnamon stick to the boiling water and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the mashed banana and vanilla extract.
Strain the tea into a glass to remove the banana pulp and spices.
Add a tablespoon of honey and stir well.
Garnish with lemon slices and a few extra mint leaves when serving.
Enjoy warm on a cold evening, or chill and serve with ice on summer days.
