Boil 500 ml of water and pour it over the black tea bags in a bowl or pitcher. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey or sugar until dissolved. Let it cool to room temperature.
Wash the mint leaves and gently muddle them with a spoon to release their flavors.
Add the mint leaves and fresh lemon juice to the cooled tea. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
When serving, fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour the cold mint tea over it.
Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint leaves for a visually appealing and flavorful drink.
