    Preparation Steps

    1

In a skillet, toast the breadcrumbs with half of the butter until lightly golden brown.

    2

Lay out the strudel leaves one at a time on a clean kitchen towel. Brush each layer with a little melted butter and sprinkle with the toasted breadcrumbs.

    3

Warm the Nutella slightly to make it easier to spread, then spread it evenly over the strudel leaves.

    4

Carefully roll up the strudel leaves, being careful not to let the Nutella spill out. Place the strudels in a greased baking dish.

    5

Whisk the egg and brush it over the top of the strudels to give them a beautiful golden-brown color during baking.

    6

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30-40 minutes, or until nicely browned and crispy.

    7

Let it cool slightly before serving, then slice and serve warm.
