Orange and Vanilla Bundt Cake served

Orange and Vanilla Bundt Cake

Bundt cake is traditionally an Austrian and German cake that quickly became popular in Hungary. The combination of orange and vanilla gives this version a refreshing and pleasant taste, perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack. One of the most important secrets is to mix the dough thoroughly and bake it at the right temperature so that the texture remains soft and tender. The refreshing taste of orange and the creaminess of vanilla complement each other perfectly.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.

    2

Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

    3

Grate in the orange zest, squeeze in the orange juice, and stir into the butter-egg mixture.

    4

Gradually add the flour mixture, then pour in the milk and mix until a smooth batter forms.

    5

Pour the batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan, then smooth the top.

    6

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    7

Let the Bundt cake cool slightly in the pan, then carefully invert it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
