Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a Bundt cake pan thoroughly.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Grate in the orange zest and pour in the orange juice. Mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt cake pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Before serving, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with orange glaze.
