Add the brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and a pinch of nutmeg. Stir well and let the flavors infuse for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the pear puree and mix thoroughly until the drink is smooth and homogenous.
Add the vanilla extract and heavy cream, stir gently, and let the drink warm for another 2-3 minutes, without boiling.
Strain the cider to remove the cinnamon stick, then divide into glasses.
Garnish with fresh pear slices and a sprinkle of nutmeg before serving.
