Thoroughly wash the pears, core them, and chop them into small cubes.
Place the pears in a blender, add a little water, and blend until smooth. Then, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any pulp.
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, pear puree, and honey or sugar. Stir until the sweetener is completely dissolved.
Add the still water and thoroughly mix the drink.
Add the ice cubes and let it sit for a while to chill the drink well.
Before serving, gently pour in a little sparkling water for a refreshing bubbly effect.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a thin pear slice, then serve immediately.
