Peel and dice the pears. Puree them in a blender until smooth.
In a large pitcher, pour the pear puree, add the lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add the cold water and mix thoroughly. Taste and add more sugar or lemon juice if needed.
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
When serving, pour the lemonade into glasses, add ice cubes, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
