Pear sorbet homemade refreshing dessert

Pear Sorbet

Pear sorbet is a classic fruity dessert that highlights the soft, sweet flavor of pears. Pear cultivation dates back thousands of years, and in the Middle Ages, it became a popular fruit on noble tables in Europe. The first sorbets were consumed in ancient Rome, when snow flavored with honey and fruit juice was cooled. In the modern version, the natural sweetness of pears and the freshness of lemon create a perfect harmony, resulting in a light, icy dessert. Imagine a spoonful of pear sorbet melting in your mouth, refreshing and invigorating with every bite!

    Preparation Steps

    1

Peel the pears, remove the cores, then chop them into smaller pieces and purée in a blender until completely smooth.

    2

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 5 minutes.

    3

Let the sugar syrup cool, then stir in the pear purée and lemon juice.

    4

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place in the freezer.

    5

Every 30 minutes, scrape the sorbet with a fork to create an icy texture. Repeat this process 3-4 times until fully frozen.

    6

Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to make it easier to scoop. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and pear slices.
