Bring 500 ml of water to a boil. Meanwhile, thoroughly rinse the fresh peppermint leaves.
Place the peppermint leaves in a tea filter or directly into a teapot.
Pour the boiling water over the peppermint leaves and let it steep for about 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to release.
Strain the tea if the leaves were added directly to the water, or simply remove the tea filter.
Add honey and stir until completely dissolved. Garnish with fresh lemon slices before serving.
