Combine the ground beef with finely chopped garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into small patties.
Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through and nicely browned.
Slice the cheddar cheese and place it on top of the cooked patties to melt.
Warm the piadina wraps in a skillet, toasting both sides until lightly crispy.
Place the cooked patties in the center of the piadina, and add the fresh lettuce leaves and sliced tomato.
Fold the piadina in half and serve immediately.
