Spring vegetable pizza with mozzarella and basil

Pizza Primavera (Spring Vegetable Pizza)

Pizza Primavera brings the perfect harmony of fresh spring vegetables to a delicious pizza. One of the basic principles of Italian cuisine is to favour seasonal ingredients, and this pizza follows exactly this principle. The crunchy texture of zucchini, asparagus and bell pepper perfectly complements the creamy texture of mozzarella, while the cherry tomatoes add a sweet taste to the dish. If you like light, fresh flavours, you should definitely try this pizza!

    Preparation Steps

    1

In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and dry yeast. Add the warm water and olive oil, then knead until you have a smooth, elastic dough. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

    2

Roll out the risen dough into a thin, circular shape. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    3

Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with grated mozzarella.

    4

Slice the zucchini, bell pepper, and asparagus into thin strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

    5

Distribute the fresh vegetables evenly over the pizza.

    6

Add finely chopped garlic, oregano, and freshly ground black pepper.

    7

Bake in a preheated oven at 430°F (220°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    8

Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.

    9

    Slice and serve immediately. Enjoy!
