500 g All-purpose flour
7 g Dry yeast
300 ml Lukewarm water
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
30 ml Olive oil
200 g Tomato sauce
200 g Mozzarella cheese
150 g Biltong (dried, cured meat)
100 g Cheddar cheese
1 Red onion
100 g Red bell pepper
5 g Fresh cilantro
1 pinch Black pepper
1 tsp Dried oregano

    Preparation Steps

    In a bowl, combine the lukewarm water, sugar, and dry yeast. Let it stand for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.

    In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until you have a smooth, elastic dough.

    Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

    Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a circle and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

    Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base, then sprinkle with dried oregano and black pepper.

    Sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese, then arrange the sliced red onion and bell pepper on top.

    Place in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    Remove from the oven, then sprinkle with the chopped biltong and grated cheddar cheese. Return to the oven briefly to allow the cheddar to melt slightly.
