While the rice is cooking, wash the radish and cut it into thin strips or small cubes.
Mince the garlic and chop the green onion.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Add the radish and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until slightly softened but still crisp.
Pour in the soy sauce and mix well to combine the flavors.
Add the cooked rice, season with black pepper, and mix well to distribute all the ingredients evenly.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion, then serve immediately.
