Thinly slice the red onion and caramelize it in a little olive oil over low heat until soft and sweet.
Toast the inside of the burger buns until golden brown and crispy.
Prepare the iceberg lettuce leaves, ensuring they are fresh and crisp.
Assemble the burgers: place the iceberg lettuce on the bottom bun, top with the blue cheese-covered patty, and then layer with the caramelized onions. Finish with the top bun and serve immediately.
