Wash the redcurrants thoroughly if using fresh fruit. If using frozen redcurrants, let them thaw slightly beforehand to make them easier to blend.
Place the redcurrants in a blender, then pour in the milk and plain yogurt.
Add honey or sugar to taste, then add a dash of vanilla extract for an even more pleasant aroma.
Add a few ice cubes, then blend everything on high speed for 1-2 minutes, until completely smooth and creamy.
Taste, and if necessary, add a little more honey or sugar for a sweeter flavor.
Pour the milkshake into glasses and serve immediately. Optionally, garnish with a few fresh redcurrants or a small sprig of mint.
