First, prepare the turkey breast. Rinse it thoroughly and pat it dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin during roasting.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, finely minced garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper. This will be the marinade for the turkey breast.
Place the turkey breast in a dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat. If you have time, you can let it rest for 1-2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Meanwhile, prepare a baking dish or roasting pan. If necessary, drizzle with a little olive oil to prevent the turkey breast from sticking.
Place the turkey breast in the baking pan and put it into the hot oven. During baking, baste the meat with its juices a few times to keep it moist.
Roast the turkey breast for about 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If you don't have a thermometer, the top of the meat should be nicely golden brown and crispy.
Once the turkey breast is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will allow the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful meat.
