Bring 200 ml of water to a boil and brew a strong black tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to fully develop.
Add the honey to the warm tea and stir until completely dissolved.
Pour the rum into the honeyed tea, then stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Place a lemon slice in the glass as a garnish and serve hot.
Before serving, adjust the flavors to your liking by adding more honey or lemon juice.
