Slice the frankfurters into rounds. Dice the bell peppers and tomatoes. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onions until translucent.
Add the garlic and Hungarian sweet paprika. Stir quickly to prevent the paprika from burning.
Add the diced bell peppers and tomatoes to the skillet. Simmer until softened, about 10-12 minutes.
Add the sliced frankfurters to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the frankfurters to heat through and absorb the flavors of the lecso.
Serve hot with fresh bread or cooked rice.
