Sfouf pancake, Lebanese turmeric pancake served with honey and pine nuts

Sfouf Pancake

Sfouf pancake is inspired by the famous Lebanese Sfouf cake, which is a simple but special turmeric dessert. Sfouf is one of the most popular Lebanese cakes, made with turmeric, giving it a special golden yellow color and a slightly spicy taste. In this version, the sfouf is made in pancake form, which is easier and quicker to prepare than the traditional cake version. Pine nuts and honey perfectly complement the flavors, providing a true Middle Eastern breakfast or dessert experience.
