Spice: Sprinkle the smoked paprika over the sautéed garlic, then quickly stir to prevent the spice from burning.
Add cream and mustard: Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Dijon mustard. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Season: Add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
Serve: Serve the sauce warm with meats, fish, or grilled vegetables. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
